METAPHOR  OF SILENCE

Suspended time. Inappropriate balance. In between places, departure or dealing areas, waiting rooms or where you are left away. Are we before or after event? Before or after drama? Is it the premonition of an upheaval or its realization?

Michèle Tassi's paintings overtake urban archetypes on which she relies on. These parking lots, these deserted streets, these hermetic high rises are an invitation to overtake the inviolable of any perception; the visible mystery of facades and ways which offers only as proposals, takes us by their strangeness, in what we see of us, in what we collect from others, as much as to our origins and to our possible future.
